The urban regeneration projects based on art and culture can be divided into following three types in view of strategies. First, strategic use of cultural facilities and public arts. Second, formation of art and cultural district/village Third, strategic use of art and cultural program. These kinds of urban regeneration projects have been widely adopted by numerous cities around the world after the successful examples like cultural facilities in Bilbao and Barcelona, 798 art district(zone) in Beijing, El Sistema 0 art program in Venezuela. This kind of regeneration methods regardes as lighter, cheaper and quicker way of changing cities and communities. When adopting urban regeneration methods based on art and culture, it is essential to apply cultural processes to get cultural results. Otherwise, the urban regeneration project would produce standardized and banal imitation result, even if the project is based on art and culture.
