Objective: This study aims to systematically review the current literature regarding the latest Human-Robot-Interaction (HRI) evaluation studies, focusing on social robots. More particularly, it aims to classify User Experience (UX) evaluation measures to address main evaluation dimensions in recent social robot studies. Background: The rapid development of the robot industry has led to increased projections of the usage of social robots in daily life and resolve some of the current problems associated with lack of human resources. Despite the strong interest in this field, research on HRI remains to be quite a few. Currently, most research in HRI are focused on improving and evaluating the technology and robot’s performance. This type of system evaluation studies is generally applicable for industrial robots since functionality and efficiency is considered a priority for these products. However, unlike industrial robots, social robots serve a different purpose. Thus, further research is needed regarding how the interaction between human and robot in consideration of a human factors perspective to enhance the user experience.
